Some free radicals are generated naturally in normal day to day living, However pollutants, sun, alcohol, cigarette smoke and some medications can generate an excess of free radicals which may interfere with our cells’ ability to function normally.

How it works:
Antioxidants act as ‘free-radical scavengers’. Free radicals are common in the body, arising through a variety of mechanisms. Some are generated in the body as part of normal energy-producing processes, some are generated by pollutants such as air pollution, and some are generated by lifestyle factors such as excess dietary fats, cigarette smoke, and alcohol ingestion. Many of these free radicals are dealt with by the body’s own free radical, antioxidant defences. Some free radicals, however, escape these defences, and tend to accumulate. Research suggests that this accumulation of free radicals can result in cellular damage.
The nutrients vitamin C, vitamin E, betacarotene and zinc in Bio ACE® have antioxidant properties that reduce the risk of cell damage attributed to free radicals. Vitamin B6 and folic acid enhance the antioxidant nutrients in this formula.
Dosage:
Adults - Take one tablet twice a day with meals, or as professionally prescribed.
Children under 12 years - Only as professionally prescribed.
Contraindications and cautions:
• Consult your healthcare professional before use if you have had renal calculi (kidney stones). Ascorbic acid may increase the risk of recurrence of calcium oxalate calculi.
• Always read the label

Active ingredients per tablet:
• Betacarotene 3 mg
• Vitamin B1 (Thiamine nitrate) 10 mg
• Vitamin B5 (Pantothenic acid from calcium pantothenate 55 mg) 50.4 mg
• Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine hydrochloride) 25 mg
• Vitamin C (Ascorbic acid) 550 mg
• Natural Vitamin E (d-alpha-tocopheryl acid succinate 62 mg) 75 IU
• Zinc amino acid chelate (Zinc 5 mg) 25 mg
• Folic acid 150 µgMedicine interactions:
Zinc may decrease the absorption and efficacy of these medications. If taking tetracycline or quinolone antibiotics, separate doses by at least 2 hours. - Product Reviews
