Fijian Gold Organic Coconut Oil - 1 Litre

Among all the dietary oils in the world, coconut oil is a most precious gem. It is composed predominantly of saturated fatty acids and, therefore, is highly resistant to oxidation and free-radical formation.

Most of the saturated fatty acids in coconut oil are of the medium chain fatty acid (MCFA) variety. The only other sources of MCFAs are butter, human breast milk and the milk of other mammals. MCFAs are naturally antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal. Virgin coconut oil is extracted from fresh coconut milk and has a very delicate flavour. It tastes so good, it can be eaten by the spoonful!

Organic, unrefined, virgin coconut oil (not hydrogenated)

Recommended Use:
Can be used to cook or bake any type of food.

Note: coconut oil melts at 26oC becoming a clear liquid. Below this temperature it solidifies and takes on a creamy white appearance. For easier use, warm up bottle in hot water (not boiling) and pour into container of your choice. Refrigeration not necessary.
