Horleys Ice Whey is based on cold-processed instantised Cation Exchange whey protein isolate, and is produced in New Zealand's most advanced dairy protein extraction and refinement facility. Ice Whey delivers the highest concentration of branch chain amino acids per gram of protein which is more than any other protein source.

BCAA's provide an important energy source for muscles during exercise and act as an anabolic factor during the recovery phase. Muscle will only grow when it has sufficient BCAA's. Ice Whey helps you create the optimum anabolic environment for muscle gain.

Ice Whey is also boosted with free form L-Glutamine and loaded with naturally converted glutamine precursors to combat exercise-induced catabolism.

Contains milk and soy products. Soy lecithin is used to insantise the whey proteins and is less than 1% of the product. Does not contain wheat proteins.

Directions for Use:
Add 36.1g (approx 3 scoops) to 200-250ml of water, non-fat milk or fruit juice and mix in a blender or shaker. You can also add Ice Whey to other foods like cereal, fruit and yogurt to increase the protein content. If you weigh more than 90kg, you can increase your serving size to 48g (approx 4 scoops).

How to Use:
The best time to have Ice Whey is 60 minutes prior to a training session (in water) to deliver circulating amino acids to working muscle. Have another serving immediately afterwards (within 30 minutes and preferably in milk, a low acid fruit juice or sports drink) to flood the recovery pathways and ignite muscle rebuilding.

To fully saturate muscles with nitrogen for recovery and repair, ensure that you are consuming small, regular quantities of protein for a variety of sources, up to a maximum of 2g/kg body weight per day.
