Phenylalanine is an amino acid that has metabolic roles in mood elevation and appetite suppression, as it is responsible for the release of the hormone Cholecystokinin (CCK). Therefore, L-Phenylalanine can be of assistance in the suppression of appetite and control of cravings, as well in the treatment of certain types of depression. L-phenylalanine is also involved in the production of thyroid and adrenal gland hormones, allowing us to cope better with stress and prevent 'burnout'. It is also used in the treatment of sickle cell anaemia.

DOSAGE:
Adults – For appetite suppression take 2-4 capsules before meals
