Why doesn’t cream work in fungal nail infections?

Topical application of antifungal treatments in cream dosage does not combat the site of infection of the nail which is the nail bed found under the nails. The cream does not reach the nail bed and hence cannot combat the nail infection. The nail bed is the site where fungus starts off the infection which then propagates through the whole nail. Being in a liquid dosage, Fungistop can be applied directly at the site of infection under the nails and thus attacks the source of the fungal infection.
